How We Prepare Devices
- Your new-to-you devices should feel reliable and ready to use right out of the box. Here’s how we make sure that happens:
- We source from schools. We purchase pre-owned and retired devices directly from schools and districts.
- We wipe them clean. Every device is securely wiped back to factory settings and all previous data, accounts, and files are removed.
- We test everything. Our technicians check the screen, battery, keyboard, ports, cameras, and more — we make sure all are functioning properly.
- We repair what needs it. A fresh battery, a new keyboard, a port fix — whatever a device needs, our team repairs or replaces it.
- We assign a grade. We assess the exterior and grade it.
- We package and ship. One more pass to confirm everything is working together. Then it's cleaned, packaged, and ready to ship.
